Welcome to christenortho!
It is a pleasure to welcome you on my website. With the present platform I would like to deliver a comprehensive insight into the fascinating specialist area of orthopaedics as well as an insight into my own activity. Patients and interested persons shall find extensive information on disease patterns of the musculoskeletal system and their treatments on the christenortho-page.
In addition to basic anatomic knowledge, interested persons can find for example indications on typical symptoms, therapeutical possibilities including aftertreatment as well as chances and risks of surgical interventions.
The manifold subject matters serve primarily the extension of knowledge but also as a preparation for the personal interaction with clinicians, and if need be radiological examination in my office in the Salemspital Bern. Ultimately the subject covered help in addition to information on a scheduled operation.
Pursuant to our office’s motto: mobility is our recipe, I treat afflictions and injuries resulting from accidents on the knee, the shoulder as well as on the hip individually and flexibly.
Unfortunately, inborn defects, accidents or illnesses can quickly result in a restriction of the musculoskeletal system which for patients is often connected with a loss of mobility and quality of life. The job of the orthopaedic surgeon is to reconstitute or optimize the lost or hindered mobility and functionality. All the measures are aimed at re-improving the quality of life.
As an orthopaedic surgeon I feel obliged to do everything possible to help patients. I do this with passion and with the greatest flexibility possible towards all of my patients. To convey mobility and at the same time to stay mobile is the credo of my daily work! When and wherever possible I am there for you gladly!
